Sales Associate

Summary:

• Retail sales position in premium chocolate and ice cream shop. Provide superior customer service and ensure that customers are provided a positive experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Greets all customers in a friendly outgoing manner.
• Provides customers with outstanding customer service.
• Operates cash register to record sales transactions accurately and promptly.
• Provides support to co-workers at all times.
• Stock merchandise and maintain appearance of store and display cases.
• Open and close store independently.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:

• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and accuracy platforms .
• Outstanding customer service skills.
• Proficiency with order entry and math skills.

Physical Demands:

• Requires someone to stand for extended periods of time.
• Requires ability to scoop ice cream.
• Requires ability to climbs stairs.
• Requires ability to move boxes up to 40 lbs. and bend to unload inventory to stock shop shelves.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.50 - $18.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 32 per week
