Sales and Leasing Consultant

BeechTree Partners is growing and our Abbey42 community is in need of a full time Leasing Consultant. This is an hourly position with monthly commissions and the potential to earn more than $40,000 / year. The ideal candidate will be customer service oriented, be active in the community and is a self-starter.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for answering telephone and email inquiries about apartment homes, assess prospects housing needs and desires, and encourages prospective residents to make an appointment to visit our apartment community.
• Presents model apartment homes and amenities to prospective residents and answers any questions they may have regarding the community.
• Provides prospects with applications and employment and rental verification forms.
• Updates perspective residents on the status of their application and coordinates a move in date with them once their application is approved.
• Collects deposits, rental fees and monthly rent.
• Inspects common areas on a daily basis in order to ensure that they are in good shape for residents, visitors and prospects.
• Runs reports as necessary and contacts residents who are coming close to their lease renewal to see if they would like to extend their lease.
• Markets Abbey42 to the Portage Community
• Works closely with the Property Manager on developing community events for residents as well as marketing events for perspective residents.
• Performs other duties as required or requested.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of six months of prior customer service / sales experience.
• Very detail oriented.
• Proficient in the use of all Microsoft Products.
• High school diploma or equivalent GED preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
