Our Sales Team works closely with customers to assist them with custom requests for a variety of markets ranging from entertainment, semiconductor, medical, military and more. Sydor Optics is seeking an individual to fill a Sales Account Manager role. The Account Manager has two primary functions. First, to maintain existing customers and secondly, to grow emerging customers.
Qualifications
Education/Certifications:
Associate degree in Optics, Business, or Communications. Bachelor's degree a plus. Previous experience with sales for Optics or technology preferred.
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:
- Experience in CRM & MRP system.
- Excellent organization and time management skills.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Essential Functions
- Actively selling and quoting opportunities to meet customer needs while maintaining positive customer relations to grow the sales portfolio.
- Focus on Customer Service to build strong customer relationships and loyalty.
- Interpret optical component drawings and prints (preferred).
- Support the CRM system with data input, i.e., follow ups, scheduling visits, feedback, quotes won/lost.
- Work with production planning and manufacturing to ensure deadlines are met.
- Annual Forecasting.
- Support our SIOP (Sales, Inventory, Operations and Planning) process.
- Work effectively with others in a team environment to accomplish organizational goals and to identify and resolve challenges.
- Travel to customers and trade shows as needed (estimated travel 2-3 weeks/year).
- Perform other duties as needed and assigned.
