Job Description
The Sales Account Coordinator is responsible for effective administration and customer development by facilitating strong exhibitor relationships and act as a conduit between exhibitors, sales and operations. The Sales Account Coordinator receives incoming leads and applications, ensuring they are assigned to appropriate sales representatives or following up directly with the exhibitor. This role will provide high level service to current and potential exhibitors, reaching business targets through excellent telephone sales and communication skills. The position is also responsible for the exhibitor contracts administration and exhibitor registration.

Job Description
The Sales Account Coordinator is responsible for effective administration and customer development by facilitating strong exhibitor relationships and act as a conduit between exhibitors, sales and operations. The Sales Account Coordinator receives incoming leads and applications, ensuring they are assigned to appropriate sales representatives or following up directly with the exhibitor. This role will provide high level service to current and potential exhibitors, reaching business targets through excellent telephone sales and communication skills. The position is also responsible for the exhibitor contracts administration and exhibitor registration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure follow-up on applications and leads, and passing leads to appropriate sales team member
- Enter new exhibitor data and update changes to existing accounts in Salesforce
- Maintain and nurture relationships with our current exhibitors by providing ongoing communication and customer service via email and phone
- Work with billing department on account reconciliation
- Assist exhibitors with any concerns they may have regarding the show/event.
- Provide timely communication to all exhibitor inquiries
- Assist potential exhibitor applicants with the application
- Maintain communications and manage expectations with waitlist and pending applicants
- Work with the operations team to compile and publish the exhibitor manual on website.
- Make sales calls where required
- Assist in event development through telephone research
- Assist with customer service calls
- Assist the Sales Manager in compiling accurate sales lists
- Social media engagement with exhibitors in official FAN EXPO group
- Other onsite duties include: onsite ordering taking, cash collection, POS management
- Flexible weekend availability during events
Qualifications
- Experience working in the pop-culture industry
- Three or more years of relevant business experience preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in-person and electronically
- High level of computer systems comprehension, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Ability to quickly learn and utilize sales data systems (Salesforce knowledge would be an asset)
- Outstanding interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills and proven versatility in time management and prioritization of tasks
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
- College degree in business/marketing or related area, or equivalent business experience required
