The Team:

The Saint-Louis team manages the development of the brand throughout America, overseeing all aspects of business: sales, marketing, PR, collaboration, e-comm, etc.

The Opportunity:

As a student intern, you will play an integral role in the daily operations and general organization of our New York showroom. You will engage with interior designers and end clients, lead sales opportunities from researching clients to completing presentations to preparing proposals and track the progress of our business.

You will also assist the Saint-Louis team at large with functions related to E-commerce and Wholesale activities.

The internship is scheduled for March 3rd to August 2nd, 2024 and this is a Part-Time opportunity.

This internship is in-person (non-remote) and based in our showroom at the D&D building, 979 Third Avenue, New York. Interns are paid an hourly rate of US $20.00. A Full-Time Internship will be scheduled for 37.5 hours per week, and Part-Time will be scheduled for more than 15 hours but less than 35 hours per week.

About The Role:

  • Assist the showroom director in day to day operations of the showroom
  • Prepare quotes and presentations for clients and designers
  • Process sales and transfers products in coordination with Customer Service
  • Assist with in-person sales in the showroom, welcome visitors and present the collections
  • Support direct outreach to the trade
  • Track progress and implement rigorous system to update the pipeline of live quotes
  • Assist with web orders paperwork and maintenance of boutique return/exchange tracking
  • Assist with other marketing actions and sales presentations as needed beyond the direct showroom activity
  • Execute all other duties assigned by Manager

About You:

  • Currently a junior or senior in undergraduate studies or graduate student in a relevant field such as Interior Design, Fine Arts, or Business.
  • Strong interest, or previous experience in the luxury sector and Design / Home Decoration sector with a creative side that lends itself to preparing visually compelling presentation materials.
  • Experienced and skilled in Microsoft Power Point, Excel, Outlook. Photoshop experience helpful.
  • Available for ~15 hours per week during the work week (no weekends).
  • Effective communicator (written & oral).
  • Organized, prompt, polite, a team player and professional by default.
  • French speaking & writing is a plus, not a requirement.
