At HOUSE OF SPICES, we are committed to providing a safe work environment for our employees, contractors, and visitors. We are currently seeking a Safety Manager to join our team. The Site Safety Supervisor will be responsible for developing and implementing safety policies and procedures, conducting safety audits and inspections, investigating accidents and incidents, and providing safety training. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in safety or a related field, He or she must be able to effectively communicate with employees at all levels and have strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe work environment by enforcing safety rules and regulations.
- Inspecting the site for potential hazards that may cause harm to people or damage to property.
- Maintaining accurate records of accident data and near-miss incidents, which can be used to identify problem areas and create solutions
- Investigate accidents and incidents, determine root cause, and develop corrective action plans.
- Conduct safety audits and inspections, identify hazards, and recommend corrective measures.
- Monitor compliance with safety policies and procedures.
- Prepare and submit accurate and timely safety reports.
- Keep abreast of new developments in safety legislation and industry best practices.
- Develop and deliver safety training programs.
- Assist in the development of emergency response plans.
- Liaise with government agencies as required.
- Maintain safety equipment and supplies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 5+ years’ experience in safety management on construction sites
- OSHA 30-hour certification
- First Aid and CPR certification
- Thorough knowledge of safety regulations and best practices
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Able to travel 75% of the time to company facilities.
- Perform Safety compliance Audits.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety, engineering, or related field
- Advanced training in safety management, CSP certification
- 5+ years’ experience in safety management in warehouse sites
- Experience with incident investigation and root cause analysis
- Thorough knowledge of OSHA regulations
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year

- Monday to Friday
