Site Safety Manager

Campbell Consulting Services Inc, is a certified international construction consultant that specializes in assisting contractors, owners, and engineering firms. Our experienced field staff includes construction and coatings inspectors, sampling technicians, industrial hygienists, training providers and management personnel trained to meet the varied requirements and budgets of our clients. We are seeking Safety Representative for various jobs in the tri-state area.
Job Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and implementation of strategies, training, and goals focused on the prevention of incidents
• Monitor effectiveness of safety performance improvement efforts, with emphasis on both leading and trailing indicators.
• Lead and oversee all aspects of development, implementation, standardization (where appropriate), and management of the NYCT Compliance Programs
• Conduct incident investigations, root-cause analysis, follow-up, and closure of action items, and leverage learning across organization for all vehicle accidents involving Company personnel and/or equipment
• Ensure compliance with all safety-related regulatory requirements, Federal, State, and Local regulations, OSHA standards, Federal Department of Transportation regulations, and Environmental Protection Agency requirements.
• Providing weekly training reports.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education and Qualifications:

• OSHA 30
• Track / Row Experience
• Willing to Train and Assist with Certifications.
• Must have 3+ years construction experience
• 40 Hour Site Safety Manager Course
• Valid Driver’s License and ability to drive to various projects sites in own vehicle
• Ability to climb elevated ladders +/-200’ elevation with 35pound load.
• Ability to perform strenuous work in a varying climate (heat and cold, etc.).
• Must be able to effectively use technology in the office and field.
• Must have good computer skills and be able to learn related software.
• Must have excellent communication skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
