Job Title: Safety and Office Coordinator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Safety and Office Coordinator to join our team at an active construction site. The ideal candidate will have a strong administrative background, proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, and a willingness to learn and adapt to safety protocols and procedures. Prior experience in safety or construction and Office work is preferred, but it is not required. This role requires someone who is flexible, detail-oriented, and comfortable with frequent walking and being on their feet for extended periods.

Responsibilities:

• Safety Compliance: Assist in ensuring compliance with safety regulations and protocols on the construction site.
• Documentation: Maintain and organize safety documentation, including incident reports, safety inspections, and training records.
• Office Management: Handle administrative tasks such as responding to emails, filing documents, and making reports.
• Data Entry: Input and update information in spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel.
• Communication: Act as a liaison between site personnel and management regarding Safety and administrative matters.
• Supply Management: Monitor and replenish office supplies as necessary.
• Site Walks: Conduct regular walks around the construction site to ensure adherence to safety standards and identify potential hazards within our company.
• Emergency Response: Assist in coordinating emergency response procedures and drills for our company.

Requirements:

• OSHA 30 Certification is required. If you do not currently hold this certification, it can be obtained before commencing the job through a fully online course.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and responsibilities.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable with physical demands of the job, including extensive walking and being on feet for extended periods.
• Prior experience in safety or construction is preferred but not required.

We would like to highlight that this position is temporary, as KHD Company LLC will be stationed at the StarPlus Energy battery site for a duration of 8-9 months. However, there will be opportunities for ongoing employment with our company at other job sites across different states.
