About the Position: Serves as the Safety and Occupational Health Specialist for Operations Division, Detroit District. Establishes goals, objectives, plans, programs, budget, and assessment of the Commander's Operations Safety and Occupational Health (SOH) Program for Operations Division. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes One year of specialized experience which includes conducting safety surveys, evaluations, studies, or audits pertaining to a safety program; assist with contract reviews and accident investigation/reporting; provide safety training, certification, and licensing; advise management and staff on Safety and Occupational Health matters; and knowledge of a wide range of Safety and Occupational Health principles, practices, procedures, and regulations applicable to the performance of complex Safety and Occupational Health management program.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent, GS-11.Employment Type: FULL_TIME
