Your Impact:

• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of existing physical security such as surveillance system, fire and burglar alarm systems, and entry system; etc. ensuring that all systems are administered and work properly. Maintain working knowledge of incident reporting and exception-based reporting systems.
• Provide support to field management in the administration of LOSS PREVENTION and safety programs.
• Investigate any security, or loss-related incident and prepare detailed reports concerning matters investigated.
• Conduct daily and weekly reviews of LOSS PREVENTION KPI’s in Solink and report findings to Asset Protection Manager and Director of Asset Protection.
• Assist Directors, District Managers and Operation Managers in developing strategies to improve loss and safety results within retail.
• Work with outside agencies (e.g., federal, state, and local law enforcement, etc.), as necessary.
• Assist in development and implementation of LOSS PREVENTION and safety training programs for all associates.
• Partner with management team to ensure compliance with all LOSS PREVENTION and safety policies and procedures.
• Network with local law enforcement agencies (police, fire, etc) and partner as needed to address potential or known risks.
• Develop partnerships with regional, district and store management to help maintain an effective knowledge of regional loss and safety activities.
• Review reported incidents in detail and ensure that all required information is captured in the reports.
• Ensure timely entry, follow-up, and completion in regard to all cases.
• Accomplishes organization mission by completing related assignments as needed.

Your Qualifications:

• HS diploma/GED with 2-5 years’ experience as a Loss Prevention, Security or Safety Specialist; retail experience preferred or any job-related experience that will provide the necessary knowledge, skill, and abilities to be able to perform the essential functions of the position.
• Candidates must have good communication, leadership, organization, training, and people skills.
• Must possess demonstrative ability in employee theft, investigation, and interview.
• Investigative experience required.
• Auditing experience necessary.
• Must be able to perform surveillances at various hours.
• Must possess a valid Georgia Driver’s License and be insurable by insurance carrier.
• Experience dealing with law enforcement and fire departments.
• Familiar with burglar and fire alarm monitoring and sprinkler system operations as well as, surveillance monitoring systems.
• Understanding of retail and warehouse operations.
• Proficient knowledge of computer applications; Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)
