Position Summary
We are looking for an experienced and responsible Facilities and Safety coordinator to join our team. As a facility maintenance coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all activities relating to the facility maintenance, compliance and adhering with occupational health and safety (OSHA) guidelines. Your main goal will be to always ensure a safe working environment and prevent any injuries and accidents. Facility and Safety Coordinator is responsible for planning, implementing, and overseeing the company's employees’ safety at work.
Essential Functions

- Source and coordinate repairs with external vendors.
- Assist in the development and implementation of company safety policies and procedures.
- Monitor hazardous material compliance in accordance with local, state, and federal requirements.
- Set up office space, furniture, misc. department moves as needed.
- Minor building maintenance “handyman” and safety duties.
- Assist with restocking and purchase of office and kitchen supplies.
- Prepare and present reports on accidents and violations and determine causes.
- Other duties as assigned.

Skills & Abilities
- 1-2 years of experience as a Building facility/ Safety Coordinator or similar role
- Knowledge of OHSA and EHS procedures
- Knowledge of potentially hazardous materials or practices
- Familiarity with conducting data analysis and reporting statistics
- Proficient in MS Office, a plus
Educations
- High School Diploma or GED required, OR formal training in maintenance or safety management or similar field a plus.
