Our company is looking for a Leasing Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Collect deposit and/or fees associated with move-in;
- Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by Property Manager;
- Walk the property daily, pick up garbage, and ensure the leasing route is marketable;
- Track collection of rent payments and follow-up with partners when they are late on such rent payments;
- Ready space for new tenants;
- Meet, greet and qualify potential tenants;
- Manage rental space;
- Manage move-in/move-out process;
- Lease Management;
- Maintain critical dates schedule for tenant options and compliance with lease terms;
- Prepare delivery letters, commencement letters, and lease-related notices to tenants;
- Give tours of the space;
- Coordinate with tenant to secure necessary certificates of insurance to comply with landlord/lease requirements.
Requirements:
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Position requires a high energy and organized individual;
- Sales and/or management experience in multi-family housing, hospitality, or retail industries preferred;
- Technically savvy individual that can navigate through various social media platforms and a familiarity with Microsoft Office and Onesite;
- Ideal candidates will have 2+ years of leasing experience
- Thrives in ambiguity and enjoys putting processes in place;
- Experience reading and interpreting residential leases;
- Basic computer knowledge including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and exposure to social media;
- Ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally;
- Extensive experience with leasing and sales;
- Ability to work day, weekend, and evening hours as required;
- Strong leadership, training, and decision making skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $14.00 per hour
