Job description

Stacy and Witbeck is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Safety Admin/Assistant to join our team. We are a leading General Contractor specializing in light rail and heavy civil work. Our industry is intriguing and provides an element of personal satisfaction--you will be supporting our mission to build rail and infrastructure projects and revitalize city centers across the nation. In this role, you will be involved in supporting our Safety Department as an Administrative Assistant through processing and tracking our drug and alcohol testing including quarterly random selections, ordering and screening motor vehicle records, enrolling employees in online safety training courses; and tracking and documenting safety and health training records. You will collaborate with various project teams. Reporting to the Safety Director, you will utilize follow-through and communication skills to keep processes in movement. A person who has experience, exposure or interest in large-scale infrastructure construction will thrive here. What you bring to the table:
Requirements:
  • 2-4 years of experience in an admin or support role.
  • Proven capacity for follow-through.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse project teams and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Office Suite is required.

Preferred Skills :
  • Familiarity with light rail and heavy civil construction would be ideal but is not required.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to prioritize and manage projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work under strict deadlines with attention to detail.
