RVP I Sales (Commercial Health Plan - Colorado)
Location: Denver, CO
Summary
A seasoned Sales Leader, responsible for directing sales and retention for the Colorado Large and Small Group Commercial segments. This leader will have a key role in driving profitable growth by developing and executing effective sales strategies and marketing plans aimed at achieving membership growth and financial goals.
Position Responsibilities
Direct and coordinate sales activities and retention efforts.
Develop and execute strategic sales and marketing plans.
Establish sales targets, oversee their implementation, and evaluate their effectiveness.
Manage a portfolio of clients and products, leveraging knowledge of underwriting fundamentals to meet financial goals.
Build meaningful relationships with direct team (associates and peers), clients, prospects, brokers, consultants, provider partners, and other key stakeholders.
Set, influence, and articulate market priorities to secure appropriate investments and resources for the CO market.
Proactively lead strategic sales initiatives to achieve sales, retention, and profitability goals.
Adapt to ever-changing market dynamics and effectively manage multiple priorities and teams simultaneously.
Confidently present to groups, both large and small.
Assemble, develop, and retain a market-leading sales and account team, providing leadership, strategic direction, motivation, and coaching.
Position Requirements
Requires a BA/BS and a minimum of 8 years of leadership experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background. Experience in the health insurance industry required.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences
Knowledge of underwriting fundamentals with experience in managing a portfolio of clients and products.
Possess exceptional financial acumen.
Superior organizational skills.
Confident public speaking skills.
For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $ 180,664.00 - $270,996.00
