DESCRIPTION:
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive patient care
- Educate patients and their families on respiratory care techniques and disease management
- Administer respiratory treatments and therapies, including oxygen therapy and aerosol medications
- Monitor and interpret vital signs, such as oxygen saturation levels and respiratory rates
- Assist with airway management, including intubation and extubation procedures
- Operate and maintain respiratory equipment, such as ventilators and nebulizers
- Perform patient assessments and develop appropriate respiratory care plans
Qualifications:
- Certification or license as a Respiratory Therapist
- Knowledge of respiratory physiology and anatomy
- Proficiency in basic life support techniques
- Ability to work with patients of all ages, including pediatrics and critical care patients
