Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

• Route outbound loads in an efficient manner utilizing RoadNet to its full capacity.
• Set up new accounts in RoadNet to insure efficient routing of orders.
• Maintain accurate Driver Roster Information to minimize mistakes in driver scheduling.
• Maximize trailer cube utilization to improve efficiency and reduce cost.
• Support transportation supervisors, in managing the delivery fleet and drivers. Communication through:  Phone, e-mail, Nextel Radios and verbal discussions.
• Work with other supervisor to assist in maintaining D.O.T. compliance of Class A CDL Drivers.
• Focus on delivery operations regarding customer relations and complete satisfaction of the delivery process by establishing and maintaining productive work relationships with all transportation supervisors, warehouse operations and sales force personnel.
• Interact with managers and drivers in other locations to ensure proper accountability of equipment, personnel, transport and dock out times. 
• Train new employees and guide current employees regarding routes, product delivery, completion of paperwork and safety requirements. 
• Ensure the appropriate appearance, professionalism and training of drivers.
• Investigate and resolve customer complaints.
• Logistical degree preferred.
• Outstanding communication skills:  Verbal and written.
• Outstanding computer skills: MS Office – Word and Excel, and Proprietary software.
• A valid, Texas State Driver's License is required.
• Must have a good driving record with no more than 1 moving violation in the past 3 years.
• Able to perform repetitive lifting of over 50 lbs, occasional lifting of over 100 lbs.
• SCHEDULE FLEXABILITY, INCLUDING WORKING HOLIDAYS AND WEEKENDS. Schedule is Sun-Frid 12pm to Finish. Split days off. Saturday off and another day during the week TBD.
