Route Driver

Rockwood Dry Cleaners is seeking high energy, long term minded individuals to join our team.  We are looking for team members who want a solid consistent job with a work schedule that stays the same. We are family owned and operated company with a great team oriented work environment located in the heart of Gahanna.  We are looking for team members who are committed to providing top notch service with a positive, helpful attitude.  We take great pride in having a great work environment where everyone works as a team to accomplish the daily tasks at hand.  Owned by two brothers who are very active in the day to day operations to ensure everything and everyone are well taken care of.  The candidates must be very comfortable with talking to people face to face and over the phone while providing excellent customer service.  A fun and fast pace work environment that makes the day go by quick.  We will fully train you on all of our routes. Starting pay can go up based on experience, commitment & work ethic.  Pay can go up quick after being hired as well if you are a top performer & committed team player.

-checking off all orders on delivery manifest for the day before delivering.

-accurately and promptly picking up and delivering orders throughout neighborhoods and businesses.

-distributing our "new customer packets" to homes to try to obtain new customers

-pick up and deliver guest laundry to hotels before and after your daily routes.
-shuttling clean orders to our other location after normal route is complete

Work days are Monday through Friday. Start time 7:15am. End time is typically around 3pm (plus or minus an hour depending on work load)

This is a high pace, physical job where you are getting in and out of a van throughout the day picking up & delivering, at times heavy loads of clothes to customers front door.  Must be able to work unsupervised and keep to a schedule. Attention to detail and being able to talk to people face to face is a must. Our Route Drivers are not just Route Drivers, they are sales, customer service etc., you are the face of our business and we take that very serious.
