Job Description
We are looking for a Route Distribution Jumper & Manager to join our team for the Third Shift!
Responsibilities include:
Manage Delivery Team:
- Supervise the loading of trucks - selection, stacking and securing of product.
- Communicate job expectations and conduct performance evaluations; recommend compensation structure based on staff performance.
- Provide orientation, training, mentoring and coaching to staff members.
- Ensure that timely and efficient deliveries are made by route delivery drivers.
- Manage logistics and deliveries to customers.
- Coordinate with tow truck company and successfully resolve all issues resulting from the breakdown of trucks.
Maintain Customer Focus:
- Initiate and implement enhancements in the quality and service of customers.
- Meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Resolve problems in a timely manner.
Comply with Safety and Other Legal Regulations:
- Maintain a safe, secure and healthy environment by establishing, following and enforcing established standards and procedures.
- Comply with company policies and procedures.
- Comply with all applicable legal regulations.
Job Requirements:
- 6 nights a week, not on Saturday night.
- Third Shift.
- Fill in for co-workers' days' off, vacation days, etc.
- Team player with professional work ethic.
- Ability to train and motivate staff.
- A seasoned individual who can start producing right away.
- Experience in managing people.
- Ability to manage a different delivery route each night.
