Are you an experienced Computer Technician PRO with hardware troubleshooting and installation, like driving and being on the move on the field? Then join our growing Tech Team of the Lead supplier for B2B vending, POS, and coin-operated machines in the Greater PA!
Alpha Vending is looking for a technician who will be responsible for installing, configuring, upgrading, diagnosing, and troubleshooting hardware and software problems. Perform preventative maintenance on our equipment and ensure that IT infrastructure is in place and used to its maximum capabilities.
The ideal candidate will be able to work diligently and accurately and will possess great problem-solving ability to fix issues and ensure functionality.
Duties:
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues.
- Provide technical support to end-users.
- Analyze and diagnose network connectivity problems.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as system updates and backups.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve Microsoft Windows / UNIX hardware and software problems.
- Install and configure new PC hardware and software on desktops, ATMs, amusement devices, laptops, and peripherals such as phones, printers, external drives, and other related hardware.
- Develop, prepare, test, and deploy hard drive images and be capable of supporting users in a virtual desktop environment.
- Perform basic computer wired and wireless network troubleshooting.
- Maintain and repair technological equipment (e.g., routers) or peripheral devices.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Computer Technician or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware components and software applications.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical users.
- Proficient in software troubleshooting and problem-solving techniques.
- Ability to analyze complex technical issues and provide solutions.
- Experience in providing technical support and customer service.
This position requires to stay on route at least 90% of the time. Candidates must own a car and have a valid Driver's License.
Please note that the first two weeks of training will be conducted in our office in Philadelphia, and the position also includes occasional visits to our office.
