Operations Manager - Hospitality
We are currently seeking a dynamic and versatile Operations Manager to join our team. This multi-purpose role will serve as the primary point of contact for our esteemed guests, ensuring the delivery of exceptional guest service at four-diamond standards. The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing various areas of hotel operations and will have the opportunity to cross-train in different departments, fostering a flexible and well-rounded skillset. Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the main liaison for our honored guests, ensuring their needs are met and surpassing their expectations in terms of service and satisfaction.
  • Uphold and maintain four-diamond standards across all guest service areas of the hotel.
  • Receive cross-training in various departments, including banquet management, guest services, and support operations in restaurants and bars.
  • Flexibly assume different roles within the hotel operations, adapting to the demands of the business and ensuring seamless service delivery.
  • Collaborate with department managers to develop and implement strategies to enhance guest experiences and improve overall operational efficiency.
  • Train, motivate, and lead a diverse team, fostering a positive work environment and promoting professional growth.
  • Maintain a high level of attention to detail, ensuring that all operations align with the hotel's quality standards.
  • Act as a problem-solver, addressing guest concerns promptly and effectively.
  • Develop and nurture strong relationships with guests, staff, and other stakeholders to facilitate clear communication and exceptional service.
  • Monitor financial performance and contribute to budget management efforts.
  • Assist in the recruitment, training, and performance evaluation of team members.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a hospitality operations management role is essential.
  • Previous F&B experience, preferable in banquet operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional guest service and maintain high standards.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Flexible and adaptable, able to work in different operational roles within the hotel.
  • Leadership qualities, inspiring and motivating teams to achieve excellence.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle guest concerns with professionalism.
  • Proficient in financial analysis and budget management.
  • Cross-training experience in banquet management, guest services, and support operations is highly desirable.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications:
Required Prior Experience:
Minimum 2 years of hospitality, Food & Beverage experience,
At least 2 years of prior supervisory experience
Required Education:
High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Education:
Bachelor's Degree in related field
Required Technology:
Basic computer knowledge, including the Microsoft Suite of Word, Excel, PowerPoint Outlook, and Teams
Physical:
Able to lift 50lbs occasionally
Able to lift 10lbs regularly
Able to stand/or walk for duration of scheduled shift
Other:
Able to work a flexible schedule to include evenings, nights, weekends, holidays, and special events
