Summary:
Responsible for performing lead duties within the daily operating procedures of Room Service, which includes duties in the call center and Ambassador duties as well as any patient care needs that may arise within the Room Service area. Ensures procedures are adhered to regarding patient/guest food orders. Assure that patient food preferences and menu choices are a consistent priority and that customer service standards are adhered to at all times. Work as a Diet Office Associate/Nutrition Associate as needed.
Education:
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent certificate.
- Demonstrated competence in a health care setting with at least 2 years' experience as a Nutrition Associate. Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Effective customer service skills and successful completion of customer service training module.
- Ability to perform detailed assignments, follow directions, work under pressure, readily adapt to change in routine and work assignments and relate to patients, families and inter-and intra-departmental staff.
- Experience working with computers is preferred.
Certification/Licensure:
- Must have City of Ft. Worth Food Handlers Card prior to employment. Card must be current at all times during employment.
