Role: Asphalt Roller Operator
The operator of the roller will operate the machine in a safe and effective manner tackling projects amidst the pulse of live traffic. The Roller Operator will receive instructions provided by our QC team members and ensure that the mat is compacted properly to create safe and reliable roadways for our communities to use. Since you will not be doing this by hand but with a machine, you will make sure that your machine is safe and effective for use each day by checking fluids, brakes, seatbelts, etc. Your office is the machine in an exciting environment outside. Responsibilities
· Maintain the machine’s fluids and appearance
· Receive and follow foreman and/or quality control’s instructions
· Comply with CRJ’s safety standards and policies
· Match, compact, and finish asphalt mat evenly and without flaws

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
