Duties/Responsibilities
- The basic function of Roll Back Driver is to pick up vehicles and/or materials in a timely manner at specified locations.
- Must have the skills and ability to drive a larger than normal vehicle with a load possibly partly obscuring the rear-view vision.
- Must be able to use side mirrors effectively. Must be able to load an assignment with minimal damage and balance and lash the load on the vehicle in a secure and efficient manner.
- Plan routes to ensure a minimum of traffic delays and maximum routing efficiency. Products/cars must be delivered over to its destination in a timely manner. Must perform hands-on work using equipment to move the heavier products.
Requirements
- A High School Diploma or GED, valid Virginia driver’s license
- Must be able to pass a drug screen & background check.
- Requires two (2) years as a roll back or similar driving experience, preferably in the auto recycling environment.
- MUST be able to drive a manual transmission truck

- Customer Service: 2 years (Preferred)
- Roll back driving: 1 year (Required)
