Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking a Coord Robotics/Lead CST. If you are an experienced OR/Surgical Tech, this is a good opportunity. You will work under the direct supervision of the circulating OR RN. You will use your advanced clinical skills in the care of our surgical patients. You will facilitate the daily operations of the Operating Room ensuring efficiency, teamwork, safety and most importantly quality of care.

What will you do in this role?

• Assemble supplies and equipment needed for surgical procedures.
• Prepare sterile instrument table for your procedures.
• Assist in positioning patients and preparing patient’s skin for surgery.
• Maintain sterile techniques and actively monitor situations that could lead to breaches in sterile technique.
• During procedures, you will assist the surgical team. This may include passing instruments, sponges and sutures.
• During procedures you will also assist in the monitoring the patient.
• After the procedure, you will gather equipment for cleaning and sterilization.

What qualifications you will need:

• Graduated from Accredited Surgical Tech program within 6 months of hire
• Minimum two years previous OR Tech experience is required
• Licensure/Certifications: CST Certification required. (CCAHEP) or equivalent
• Surgical Technologist Certification (Preferred)
• 1+ year of scrub tech experience
• Demonstrated knowledge in robotics, Neuro, or specialty area of OR
• BLS or BCLS - American Red Cross or American Heart Association required upon hire
• Clear communication with the surgical board coordinator, physicians and advance care professionals is essential
