Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $22-$27 per hr.
1st shift
typical hours are 6am-4pm Monday-Thursday with OT as needed

What’s a typical day as a Robotic Weld Operator? You’ll be:
• Understanding, troubleshooting, and supporting entire Robotic Welding processes.
• Performing inter-pass cleaning and in-system repairs as needed.
• Reading and comprehending blueprints, bill of materials, customer specifications, and weld procedures to plan layout and fit-up fabricated components.
• Developing templates and models for welding projects.
• Fitting and tacking assemblies and performing joint preparation per job instructions.
• Ensuring dimensions of completed products meet tolerance specifications.
• Examining workpieces for defects and removing rough spots using grinders, files, or scrapers.
• Maintaining and completing all required records and production documents accurately and neatly.
• Interfacing with the Quality Management Team to ensure adherence to company and client procedures.
• Maintaining a clean and safe working area and following all applicable safety procedures.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have a high school diploma or GED.
• Have successfully completed internal welding certification.
• Have working knowledge of welding equipment and processes.
• Are proficient in welding procedures, plasma cutting, and oxyfuel cutting.
• Are familiar with various welding processes such as GMAW, FCAW, SMAW, GTAW, and SAW.
• Have the ability to learn basic robotic programming and troubleshooting.
• Possess proficiency in reading blueprints, bill of materials, customer specifications, weld procedures, and weld symbols.
• Can safely utilize overhead cranes and other lift assists.
• Are able to pass a pre-employment drug test and participate in random drug screens.
