Outside Commercial Service Technician

As an Outside Commercial Service Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining commercial vehicles at various locations. From roadside service calls to tire changes, you'll be the hero our customers rely on to keep their operations running smoothly.
Job Duties:
- Respond to roadside service calls promptly and efficiently.
- Inspect tires for defects, holes, and tears to be able to dismount, mount, and inflate tires safely and accurately.
- Identify additional service needs for vehicles and complete work orders.
Schedule: Monday thru Saturday, variable as scheduled
Requirements:
- Lift and move weights of up to 50 pounds regularly; occasionally handle over 100 pounds.
- Perform a range of physical tasks including standing, bending, twisting, and crawling.
- Drive a commercial motor vehicle (CMV) within the 10,001 to 26,000-pound range.
- Valid driver's license and ability to meet driving requirements.
- Good communication skills and ability to read work orders.
Work Environment:
- Work primarily outdoors at various locations, including the side of the highway.
- Safety equipment provided, work mostly independently.
Physical Demands:
- Lift and move heavy objects regularly, effective communication with customers and coworkers.
- Frequent standing, bending, and use of hands and fingers for repairs.
- Must have keen vision and hearing for safe inspection and repairs.
- Good communication skills and ability to read work orders.
Education/Training:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- TIA Certification or willingness to obtain certification.
- Willingness to attend training sessions, including travel when necessary.
Pay: Hourly + Commissioned Based
