The ideal candidate will have experience working with patients in long-term care, rehabilitation center or a nursing home and is able to communicate effectively with fellow employees and management.

Responsibilities:

• Effectively communicate with patients, family members, and other staff members.
• Prepare for and participate in fire drills and other safety drills.
• Supervise and work as part of a team.
• Manage medications and administer injections.
• Assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, exercising, and feeding patients.
• Provide individualized patient care that promotes the patient's dignity and independence.
• Inform patients of the activities of the day and their care plan as appropriate.
• Monitor, record, update, and communicate changes in patient's condition to the licensed practical nurse supervisor or RN as appropriate.

Job Types: Contract, PRN, Per diem, Temporary, Travel nursing

Pay: $35.00 - $55.00 per hour

• Nursing: 1 year (Preferred)
• Long Term Care: 1 year (Preferred)

• Coeur d'Alene, ID: Relocate before starting work (Required)
