Job Description
We have a case for a 17 year old young man in Nashua who is seeking overnight coverage. His family is looking for any times between 330p-630am the following morning.
We allow up to a 12 hour shift. This young man has a history of metabolic disorders and convulsions. He is a lively, talkative young man who loves to have companionship.
He needs an over night nurse to monitor vitals throughout the night.

Private Duty Nurses are Registered Nurses (RNs) or Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) who meet state and federal licensing requirements. They assess and evaluate clients and provide services as indicated by the Plan of Care. Working collaboratively with the Director of Nursing (DON), they update and implement each client’s Plan of Care as appropriate. Private Duty Nurses keep clients healthy and improve the quality of their lives. They engage their clients’ family members to support the overall well-being of their clients. They advocate for their client’s needs with physicians and other ancillary providers. In some cases, they may work with a multidisciplinary team of caregivers to assure their clients receive the level of care and services they need to continue living safely and comfortably in their homes.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an approved school of professional nursing
- Current licensed Registered Nurse in NH OR LPN
- Preferred: ASN or related degree
- One or more years of experience in clinical home health services, or equivalent
- Excellent problem-solving ability, organizational skills and capacity to work independently or as a team
- Demonstrated competence in applying processes designed to ensure adherence to all pertinent federal and state rules and regulations
- Strong communication skills
- Sensitivity to the special needs of older adults and related stress they and their family members may experience
- Demonstrated computer literacy
