Administer skilled nursing care to one specific client requiring professional nursing services. Clients may have a tracheostomy, enteral tube feeding, catherizations, range of motion, ventilator, and seizure interventions. These services are performed in accordance with the physician’s orders and under the direction and supervision of the Nurse Manager. Perform duties in any nursing capacity as needed over a 12 hour shift. This position is 7:00am to 7:00pm shifts, 3 days a week, some weekend availability.
- Required to have the ability to read, write, and speak English well enough to communicate with staff, clients, and visitors. Must complete and pass a state required background study.
- Graduate of an approved school of professional nursing. Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Minnesota. Able to communicate verbally and in writing to the extent required by the position. Able to physically perform the duties required by the position. Must have a car with required insurance coverage and a state driver’s license to travel to client’s residence. Must have adequate computer skills.
