Rn - Wound Care - Mullica Hill - Pt - Days

MAJOR FUNCTION:

Provides nursing assessment and direct patient care in an ambulatory setting. Collaborates with medical and nursing staff. Must be able to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care to diverse population of Wound Care patients. The RN must have the ability to implement the treatment plan and monitor patient and family compliance with prescribed treatment plan. The RN must be knowledgeable of the policies and procedures of the department.

QUALIFICATIONS:Education & Experience:

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing with current licensure in the State of New Jersey as required by law.
• You must be enrolled in a BSN or MSN program from an accredited school of professional nursing and graduate on or before the second employment anniversary date into a nursing position.
• BSN or MSN graduates preferred.
• Two years nursing exp. required.
• 2 yrs. Wound Care, ER, or Outpatient Clinic nursing experience preferred.

Certification/Licensure:

• Current licensure with New Jersey State Board of Nursing as required by law.
• American Heart Association BLS required.
• Wound Care Certification required within 3 years of hire.

Knowledge & Skills:

• High quality of nursing competence and basic leadership skills.
