RN- (Weight Treatment Center)

Location: Jefferson City, MO, 65109
Specific Competencies:
Takes patient’s weight, blood pressure(s), and blood sugar logs.
Identifies problematic side effects related to weight loss and offers recommendations as appropriate within respective RN Scope of Practice in the State of Missouri; refers to PCP as appropriate.
Appropriate medical record documentation
Provides appropriate safety and infection control measures
Ability to talk one on one with patients, in person and on phone, regarding weight loss and program start up/review
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION:
Graduate of an accredited RN program
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of one year experience as a licensed professional
Prefer previous experience in a weight management or willingness to learn
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION:
Licensed as an RN in the State of Missouri
Current BCLS certification
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
Personal qualities: empathy and compassion for obese individuals
Desire to promote weight loss program(s)
