Rn Supervisor - Pm Shift

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursing Supervisor to join our team. As an evening shift (6p-2a) Nursing Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the nursing staff and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care. This is a leadership role that requires strong clinical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to effectively manage a team.

Duties:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of nursing staff (LPN/CNA)
- Provide guidance and support to nurses and CNA's in their daily duties
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and protocols
- Monitor patient care and intervene as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to nursing staff
- Assist in the recruitment, hiring, and training of new nurses and CNA staff
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care

Requirements:
- Valid nursing license in Alabama
- Proven experience as a Nursing Supervisor or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of nursing principles and practices
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems
- Experience in a Long Term Care preferred

Pay: $27.00 - $30.00 per hour
