The primary duties of the RN Supervisor of Clinic Operations include:
- Manages daily staffing for assigned clinic operations.
- This position will require 50/50- OR clinical/admin
- Ensures nursing practice reflects established standards of care and practice and a culture that promotes patient safety.
- Under the general direction of the Manager/Director, shares leadership responsibilities for the nursing staff, including managing daily staffing
- Works in partnership with Management and Physicians to ensure quality and efficiency in the management of patient care.
- Contributes to operations management of assigned business unit(s).
- Participates in budget planning and takes proactive initiative in quality management
Qualifications
Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:
- Two years applicable clinical experience in the Operating Room is required
- Requires excellent skills in communication, problem-solving, team development, planning and follow-through. Ability to exercise the authority and responsibility for assigned services based on the scope of the organization and complexity of patient care.
- Graduate of an accredited program.
- Maintains current California RN license.
- Current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider
- Current American Heart Association ACLS for Healthcare Provider and all competencies/certifications required of the charge RN on the unit.
- BSN and/or certification in area of specialty if applicable
- Leadership experience strongly preferred
