The Correctional Care Registered Nurse is a member of a multi-disciplinary team providing care for a diverse population of patients within the Stearns County jail. This RN position is located within the jail and will be working with the inmate population for acute and chronic healthcare conditions. Experience working in mental health is strongly preferred.
Schedule:
- Days, 32-48 hours per 2-weeks, 5:45am to 2:15pm, 7am to 3:30pm and/or 9am to 5:30pm., every fourth weekend, and rotating holidays.
- Evenings, 40-48 hours per 2-weeks, 12:30pm-10pm, every third weekend, and rotating holidays.
- Opportunities to pick up additional evening shifts from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Pay:
- Entry level pay $34.04 however, we pay more for experience.
- Add an additional 6%
- We also offer shift differentials.
Education in Licensure:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure (RN) in the State of Minnesota
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required.
Additional Requirement:
- BCA and county background check required.
