Boulder Community health is seeking a RN Quality Specialist who is responsible for supporting organizational quality and performance improvement initiatives.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in healthcare preferred.
• Current Colorado RN license in good standing
• Two years' experience in a healthcare setting required.
• Prefer 2+ years' experience with performance improvement methodologies.
Responsibilities
• Maintains excellent communication with the Director of Quality and other directors and administrators throughout the organization.
• Communicates effectively and provides training to caregivers regarding quality management and improvement principles, small test of change methods such as Plan-Do-Study-Act, use of data and improvement tools.
• Leads or supports quality committees which may include sepsis, cardiology, readmission or other identified organizational priorities.
• Provides committee assistance with chart review and other support activities.
• Assists with the development and validation of data collection methodologies.
• Leads or supports the Patient Family Advisory Committee (PFAC)
• Assists with regulatory data submission such as The Joint Commission, State, or registries as assigned.
• Employees are expected to comply with all regulatory requirements, including Joint Commission Standards.
• Is familiar with organization, department and job specific Environment of Care areas, including Life Safety, Utilities Management, Hazardous Materials Communications, Emergency Preparedness, Infection Control and Medical Equipment Failure.
