Job Description
Busy oncology practice is seeking an experienced candidate to join our team as a Quality and Performance Metrics Coordinator!
Responsibilities include:
- Assists in the development, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of Quality and Performance Metrics for the practice and health systems.
- Assists in the development of a performance metric auditing tool that includes skills and competency training for new hires, and reeducation for existing staff.
- Conducts scheduled Performance Metrics audits at each clinic location, and provides summary reports of results and recommendations for improvement to office managers and department leaders.
- Assists in evaluating clinical operations for efficiency improvements to include staffing, workflow, documentation, and delivery of care.
- Participates in onsite and virtual operations meetings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, medical oncology preferred.
- Minimum two-years' experience in Quality and process improvement.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills required.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to function effectively with a wide variety of disciplines, including physicians, hospital managers, and leaders.
- Combination of remote and on-site work required. Must be willing to travel occasionally to all office locations.
