Job Description:
- Function in the roles of both teacher and facilitator
- Maintain education and clinical nurse resource services to critical care specialty services and units
- Create an effective learning environment
- Follow and direct critical care orientation, ongoing education, staff development and competency assessment
- Provide resource services to the critical care management and staff, including assistance with policies and procedures, performance improvement initiatives, peer review activities, product education and evaluation
- Evaluate the outcomes of staff education
- Plan nursing professional development programs that are culturally relevant and incorporate concepts of multicultural and multigenerational education
- Advocate for the nursing professional development programs that support the needs of the learner and the organization.
Requirements:
- BSN required, MSN preferred
- Valid New York RN license in New York
- At least 5 years of experience as a Nurse Educator required
- BLS, PALS required
- Able to work independently
Please note- The annual base salary range is $110k to $128k. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
