Job Description:

Minimal requirements/experience:

• 2 years MedSurg preferred

• Basic MedSurg skills to include admission/discharge of a variety of patient populations, outpatient infusions

• Minimum BLS required (ACLS preferred)

Staff expectations

• Able to function independently and assist others

• Comply with all unit quality measures

• Base schedule is every other weekend but may change depending on unit needs. Will not schedule every weekend unless requested

• Any requested days off must be requested and may be considered, but will work with nurses on site using our existing time off requests.

Basic details

• Nurse patient ratio:5-6:1 depending upon acuity

• Staffing: 2 nurses on days, 2 on nights

• 12 hour shifts 0630-1900 / 1830-0700

• Must clock in and out for lunch
