Job DescriptionSCOPE OF POSITION
The RN - Lung Nodule Navigator will provide individualize assistance to patients, families and caregivers to help them overcome health care barriers and facilitate timely access to quality medical and psychosocial care. The Navigator will be responsible for arranging diagnostic procedures and surveillance studies for patients identified by radiologist or by referral as having a suspicious Lung Nodule based on protocol standards. The Navigator will coordinate care with the clinicians to make referals and coordinate care with the entire health care team. The Navigator will be a liaison for the local support groups and cancer organizations, and provide support and make community referrals for patients and their families as appropriate. The Navigator may participate in grant writing, fundraising, or other activities at the direction of management to raise cancer awareness or improve the program.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Associate's or Bachelor's degree from an accredited Nursing program. Pulmonary or oncology experience required.

• Valid and active RN licensure in appropriate state
• CPR required
