Job Description:

Are you a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse seeking an exciting travel opportunity in Johnson City, TN? We are currently looking for a dedicated RN to join our Trauma PCU team for a 13-week contract.

Shift Schedule:
As a Travel RN in our Trauma PCU, you will work night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, following a 36/48 schedule. This schedule allows for flexibility while ensuring continuity of care for our patients.

Certifications Required:
To qualify for this position, you must hold active certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS/BCLS), and National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS). Your expertise in these areas will contribute to our team's ability to deliver high-quality care to trauma patients.

Orientation and Compliance:
General orientation will commence on Sundays, with online Competency-Based Learning modules (CBLs) provided. Additionally, 16 hours of nonbillable orientation will be included. We prioritize compliance and aim to start the traveler on any Sunday following the completion of compliance documents by the deadline.

Additional Information:

• The traveler's permanent residence must be 100 miles or more from the hospital's service area.
• The hospital can cancel or call off one shift biweekly without financial penalty from the employed 36/36 or 36/48 schedule, depending on the employment agreement, in the event of a decrease in census.
• Additional shifts picked up above the work commitment will be flexed as needed for hospital census decrease or decreased resource need without penalty.
