Job Description
The position functions as a 24/7 member of the multidisciplinary team of care providers who reflect a culture of cooperation, enthusiasm and respect. Responsible for coordinating the interdisciplinary team of providers to best serve the patient, including education, continuity of care and support through all phases of diagnosis, treatment, and follow up care for men and women. Demonstrate respect, dignity, kindness and empathy in each encounter with all patients, families, visitors and other employees regardless of cultural background.
Qualifications
Education, Credentials, Licenses:
BSN Current registration to practice nursing in the state where work is being performed
Obtains required CEU’s including all state required courses
NOTE: Must meet requirements below: (within 6 months of employment)
Must have a legal and valid driver’s license
Must pass a criminal background check
Must pass MVR check
Must be insurable
Must be considered acceptable as a routine driver by healthcare system’s business auto insurance carrier.
Specialized Knowledge:
Extensive knowledge of nursing standards and practice in the clinical specialty area
Kind and Length of Experience:
3 years of experience in Nursing or related field. Behavior Health/Addiction Care/ED experience preferred.
Demonstrates ability to work autonomously and can provide direction to nurses, physicians, and ancillary associates.
