As a Registered Nurse, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients and their families. You will provide compassionate and competent nursing care, collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to promote and restore patients' health.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Assessing and monitoring patients' conditions, including vital signs, symptoms, and changes in health status.
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Performing various nursing procedures, such as wound care, IV administration, and catheterization.
- Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to create and implement individualized care plans.
- Educating patients and their families about their medical conditions, treatment plans, and self-care techniques.
- Ensuring accurate documentation of patient information and maintaining medical records.
- Adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
- Providing emotional support and comfort to patients and their families.
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives and professional development activities.
The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong clinical background, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a genuine passion for patient care. Previous experience as a Registered Nurse in a healthcare setting is required.
Requirements
- Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse license.
- Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred).
- Previous experience as a Registered Nurse in a healthcare setting.
- Knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and procedures.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize patient care needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
