A Brief Overview
This role will create, coordinate and manage projects for clinical teams and departments.
This role also will assist to standardize processes, implement improvements and support other operational needs throughout the division.
What you will do
- Project Management:
- Develop, manage and execute work plans, deliverables and project reports/updates.
- Collaborate with management to set project/operational priorities, resources and risks.
- Project Execution:
- Manage project execution including milestones, documentation, schedules, roles, responsibilities and progress.
- Complete post-project evaluations to determine project outcomes.
- Develop tools and processes to support projects and division operations.
- Data Collection, Analysis and Reporting:
- Coordinate and perform data collection (e.g., databases, surveys).
- Conduct basic qualitative and quantitative analysis and communicate results.
- Identify opportunities for data reporting and collaborate to facilitate data requests.
- Assist with other operational needs including professional practice evaluations (OPPEs), provider letters and scorecards.
- Communication:
- Manage communications and relationships with project stakeholders.
- Coordinate and facilitate project meetings and coach project team members.
- Provide education on project management, improvement tools and methodologies.
Education Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree Required
- Master's Degree Preferred
Experience Qualifications
- At least two (2) years relevant project coordination / management experience Require in a healthcare or research related environment Preferred
Skills and Abilities
- Intermediate knowledge of Project Management Body of Knowledge guidelines (PMBOK) including productivity tools, project charters, work plans and budgets.
- Intermediate knowledge of quality improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma)
- Basic knowledge of electronic medical record software (EPIC)
- Intermediate proficiency with office software (Microsoft Office) including word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Strong critical thinking / problem-solving skills

Licenses and Certifications
- Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) - Project Management Institute (PMI) - upon hire - Preferred or
- Project Management Certification (PMP) - Project Management Institute (PMI) - upon hire - Preferred or
- Six Sigma Green Belt (CSSGB) - American Society for Quality (ASQ) - upon hire - Preferred
