Role and Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed reviews of UBO4s, itemized statements, and automated system analyses, including hospital coding with a focus on MUEs, HCPCS/CPT, and Diagnosis Code
- Evaluate medical record documentation for pricing accuracy, identifying and documenting compliance and billing errors and obtaining hospital CMS certification information
- Support appeals, assist in internal code creation, attend staff training and meetings, and contribute to other special projects as needed
Desired Qualifications:
- Previous experience working as a RN with Insurance Claims background
- Strong communication skills and good attention to detail
- Ability to work by yourself and work together in a team environment
