- Maintains knowledge of, and complies with, all relevant laws, regulations, policies, procedures and standards.
- Actively participates in creating and implementing improvements.
- Utilizes nursing process by assessing, implementing and evaluating care given to assigned patients.
- Communicates accurately and effectively with patient/family and healthcare members regarding plan of care, nursing interventions and patient information.
- Coordinates care with physicians. Directs, coordinates and acts as a liaison for other health care personnel.
- Manages and supervises other unit personnel as needed.
- Assumes charge nurse responsibility as assigned.

- ACLS & BLS certified
- RN Cardiac Special Care experience or cross-trained
