Work Schedule:
80% FTE, Monday - Friday (with one day off). Hours between 8am - 5pm, based on the operational needs of the department. No weekends, no holidays. Potential partial remote work option. You will work at the Pediatric Neurology Clinic located within University Hospital in Madison, WI.
Be part of an interdisciplinary team that treats patients who have a wide variety of Neurologic issues, sometimes extremely complex.
We are seeking a Registered Nurse to:
- Join our world-class UW Health Kids interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive life-changing care for kids living with neurological conditions.
- Specialty programs with pediatric neurology include epilepsy (one of only two level 4 epilepsy centers in WI), headache, neuromuscular disorders, and spells clinic. Our expert team offers the latest treatments for the most complex neurological conditions!
- Contribute to a highly collaborative team and learning environment, where everyone's voice is valued, staff wellbeing is a priority, and critical thinking and questions are encouraged.
- Partner with neuro pediatric patients and their families to provide holistic and comprehensive care to kids with complex conditions.
- Participate in research and clinical trials in partnership with providers and other team members, that can help advance care for pediatric neurological patients.
Education:
Minimum - Graduate of school of nursing
Preferred - Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Work Experience:
Minimum - Six (6) months of RN experience
Preferred - Relevant RN experience
Licenses and Certifications:
Minimum - Registration as a registered nurse in the state where employed or licensure in a state in the licensure compact. CPR/BLS Certification.
Preferred - Applicable clinical certification
