Genesis10 is seeking a Risk/Data Analyst for a 4-month contract position with a financial services client located in Houston, TX. This is a hybrid position with the flexibility to be fully remote after training is completed.

Genesis10 is currently seeking a qualified candidate to join the Metrics Team of Business Standards & Best Practices is responsible for producing metrics reporting related to risk mitigation within the Corporate Trust line of business for our client in Houston, TX.
Responsibilities:
- The analyst will be responsible for obtaining data, creating/maintaining reports to be published, updating values for Key Risk Indicators (KRI), assisting with identifying causes for red/amber KRIs, and communicating issues to managers, Audit, Compliance, and Risk Management.
- The analyst must be able to creatively source and analyze the data; make decisions on relevance and importance; and detect discernible inconsistencies, unexpected patterns and abnormal trends.
- The analyst must have a broad understanding of Microsoft tools used to collect, identify and report on business metrics.
- Analyst must have very strong Excel skills, particularly in manipulating large volumes of data, and be proficient in PowerPoint.
- Additionally, the analyst must have strong communication and presentation skills to be able to share results with senior managers.
Qualifications:
- Must be a Microsoft Excel expert
- Able to handle large volumes of data
- Have PowerPoint proficiency
- Minimum associate degree - will also consider experience in lieu.
- Only candidates available and ready to work directly as New Journey/Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
- Able to work as a W2 employee of Genesis10 (no corp to corp)
Range: $27.00 - $31.00 per hour.
