Position Description
E-J is seeking an Administrative Assistant in our LIC office, reporting to, and working closely with their Vice President of Risk Management and Compliance. The ideal candidate possesses natural organizational skills, has a strong professional foundation, and enjoys taking initiative. The day-to-day responsibilities would entail:
- Managing all aspects of company related claims including preparing responses to legal requests, subpoenas, etc.
- Attending Claim Review meetings
- Managing Claim Loss Runs
- Interfacing with various levels of personnel
- Creating and managing claim and compliance files - both electronic and hard copy
- Attending claim meetings
- Ensuring accurate Compliance related documentation
Qualifications
- 3+ years' experience (a plus, but not required)
- Highly motivated team player
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to foresee needs before they arise and come up with solutions to problems quickly
- Must be Proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel
