Risk Management Analyst - Swedish First Hill campus in Seattle, WA
SCHEDULE: 1.0 FTE; 40 hours per week. Monday-Friday, 8a-5p PST. Some on-call required.
As an entry level position, assists the Director of Risk Management in planning, directing and coordinating the system-wide Risk Management programs for Swedish Health Services. Oversees selected programs to ensure that risks are identified, analyzed and controlled. Assists the Senior Risk Manager and/or Director in the selection and implementation of the most cost-effective risk financing options for the organization. Is responsible for overseeing incidents and claims issues, including investigation of incidents, loss control & mitigation, and support to litigation for assigned hospital campus(es) and/or provider practices. Serves as a resource to physicians and staff in clarifying and resolving Risk Management issues.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree Business Administration, Insurance or Risk Management, or healthcare related clinical degree. Or equivalent educ/experience.
  • Upon hire: CPHRM or related Risk Management certification.

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
