This position plays a pivotal role in supporting the effective challenge of Risk & Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) for Data Quality risks. The ideal candidate will work across the 1st and 2nd Lines of Defense to ensure RCSAs are completed in line with agreed timeframes and per established procedures. To perform this role, a high level of interaction is required with business units and associates at all levels of the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for supporting the execution of effective challenge of RCSAs impacting data quality
- Assist with the development of expected controls to be included in RCSAs for data quality
- Provide consultation to risk owners regarding identifying and assessing risks, including the effectiveness of control environment
- Assist with the development of period data quality issues reporting
- Engage key stakeholders as needed to enable the RCSA lifecycle and strengthen the output through recurring knowledge-sharing
- Escalate potential issues resulting from RCSA to management promptly
- Aggregate, analyze, and draw conclusions for themes and trends associated with completed RCSAs
- Partner with key internal stakeholders, both at the business unit/organizational levels, to maintain awareness of organizational risk exposures
- Keep abreast of new and evolving risk management developments and industry change
- Demonstrate strong project management skills to drive consistent high-quality execution of the RCSA program
- Ability to negotiate, influence, and collaborate to build successful relationships
Bachelor's Degree and 1 years of experience in Risk Analytics or Analytics OR High School Diploma or GED and 5 years of experience in Risk Analytics or Analytics
